I have a few questions to ask to you about your article "The Universe Defies Atheism" You take on the view point that God I can easily take what you said and apply it to your god. Which puts you on shaky grounds with the cosmos as well. Let us think of it this way, "An uncaused "necessary being" must needs to be timeless" Great typo... by the way. Let's ask ourselves this question can the universe be measured in an amount of time? Lets think of a clock, it goes in a circle as do planets we measure years by the orbit of the planets we can say that everything orbits until we get to everything that exists, it is timeless you cannot measure it since it doesn't have an orbit and it sits in one point in time. So it stays at the point and grows and collapses and grows, never a beginning or an end just a circle since time is not and cannot be applied to it. Let me ask you a question though, you assume that the universe MUST be supernatural or that it HAS to have a creator, does that mean I can say the same thing about your god? Who created him? As you see, I can apply the same rules to your god and have the same outcomes... except I get more things like an illogical book and even more inconsistencies like... If god is omnipresent is he not? You will agree with me, so how can evil exist? Also, what about geological, scientific and historic accuracies in the bible? Would you counter this by saying "The bible is the imperfect word of man." Because if it was wouldn't that put your faith on shaky ground since your belief is based on a book which was written by a man who was not trustworthy?
